Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to consider being a sponsor of the Pembroke Pines Optimist Tackle
Football, Cheerleading & Flag Football programs. Our goals at P.P.O. are to keep the kids off the streets away from televisions
sets and at the park learning team work, citizenship and building self esteem.
Our Football and Cheerleading programs depend on the support of local merchants, as our costs of running the program each
year are well over $100,000. With your help and the work of our dedicated volunteers and parents, we can keep the registration
fees for the children to a minimum. Support from sponsors is greatly needed to equip our children with the best quality and
safest equipment available.
In the summer, we offer a flag program for our younger kids, along with our 7 tackle divisions ranging from Peewee to
Unlimited, which include boys and girls from age 5 to 15. During the spring, we offer 5 on 5 Air it Out Flag Football League. Our
volunteers teach motor skills, confidence, discipline, sportsmanship and most of all teamwork.
As you can image, with over 750 children in these programs, the expense adds up quickly and any amount sponsored is greatly
appreciated by all of the children who utilize the P.P.O. Football and Cheerleading Programs. Your support for our city parks is
vital to your community, as the young people who play in the sports programs will be the future leaders of our community.
All of our coaches, trainers and administrators are volunteers, so all of your donations are spent directly on the youth of the
program and not administrative salaries. The city of Pembroke Pines graciously provides the facilities and grounds, as well as
taking care of them.
To assure the safety of our children, it is essential that we get rid of old equipment and replace it with new equipment to assure
the safety off all our participants. Each team is required to get a sponsor.
Please consider being a sponsor for our successful program. We are proud to say that last season our tackle football program
was #1 in our league for the 7th straight year with over 80 wins. We sent five of our teams to the AYFL Super Bowl. We also had
four cheerleading squads receive top honors at competition. None of this is possible without the support from our sponsors.
